Brough Superior Workshop: Behind the scenes with the painter
Since the brand founded its original workshops in Birmingham, England, Brough Superior has worked tirelessly to create unique production motorcycles. Each machine proudly bears a plate engraved with its owner’s name. Encapsulating the brand’s legendary status, each of these mechanical jewels is assembled by hand, like a true work of art. Our bespoke process allows clients to customize their motorcycle, working with us to select its color and other finishing touches. Our workshop’s painter is one of the finest French artisans who brings the rider’s dreams to life by making each Brough Superior a unique work of art.
The painter’s role at Brough Superior
Our passionate and talented painters - who also complete an array of other bodywork tasks - work daily to bring future Brough Superior owners’ dreams to fruition. True artists, they paint the finishing touches with exceptional dexterity, personalizing your motorcycle from fender to fender to configure it to your exact specifications. We work closely with you to select textures, colors, logos, piping, gold leaf and other airbrushed details - anything is possible; there are no limits to your imagination. It is not uncommon for these master craftsmen to hand paint several coats to achieve the desired effect. The painters at Brough Superior’s workshop give painstaking attention to their work to make sure that no detail is overlooked and that the finished product is perfect in every way.
