Brough Superior at Chantilly Arts & Elegance
Brough Superior was well represented at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance event, which held its 6th edition on Sunday 25 September. More than 20,000 enthusiasts came to admire nearly 700 cars assembled by some forty clubs, as well as a few wonders on two wheels.
The Brough Superior Golden Dream and Lawrence found in the park of the Château de Chantilly a setting perfectly suited to their charm, representing a bridge between two eras. It is precisely to pay tribute to the beautiful years of the first life of Brough Superior that Thierry Henriette and Albert Castaigne, president and general manager of Brough Superior Motorcycles, adopted a 1930s "dress code", with baggy cavalry trousers, boots with gaiters, waistcoat, cap and bow tie. A chic outfit for an event that was no less chic, worthy of those adopted by George Brough himself. The AMB 001, the third motorbike exhibited on the Brough Superior stand, also caused a sensation, since the prestigious French manufacturer Aston Martin, which had several mythical cars lined up in different categories of the Concours Art & Elegance, entrusted the production and the motorisation of this racy sports bike to the French brand.
