Producing the best motorcycles in the world thanks to French expertise

From the brand’s inception to present day, Brough Superior motorcycles have been considered to be among the best in the world. To achieve the level of excellence and luxury that George Brough started the adventure with, it’s all about perfection down to the smallest detail, no more, no less. The engineers’ brilliant ideas and blueprints combined with the designers’ remarkable sketches and 3D drawings culminate in the creation of this ambitious French brand. Producing a Brough motorcycle requires a full team of deeply skilled individuals to bring their dedicated attention to each step of the assembly process.

It takes an army of French experts to create your dream motorcycle

At Brough Superior, there are no limits to our ambition. Designing the best motorcycle in the world means challenging conventional motorcycle design. That’s why we place so much import in employing only the most highly-skilled engineers and designers. These individuals team together, driven by passion and relentless commitment, to produce completely French-made motorcycles of unparalleled beauty using cutting-edge technologies. This collaborative process results in the birth of extraordinary machines, perfectly tailored and ergonomically fit to each owner.

Boilermaker, polisher and welder

At Brough, everything is handmade, so our boilermakers, welders and polishers are absolutely vital. Their rare talent and expert knowledge ensure that the most precious and innovative parts are designed with the utmost care.

The boilermaker

The boilermaker traces, cuts, folds and assembles the various pieces of your dream motorcycle with extraordinary dexterity before giving them to our welder.

The welder

The welder meticulously degreases and cleans these pieces, before assembling them together. Once welded, they are given to the polisher.

The polisher

Brough Superior’s polisher is a true perfectionist who is responsible for passing each visible and non-visible part through quality controls to ensure that each machine meets the highest standards.

Painter and body workman

Once the parts are completed, it’s the body workman’s turn to make his contribution by building the frame and completes the finishing touches. A true artist, he custom paints each Brough from fender to fender, bringing each future owner’s dream to fruition. In his hands, a Brough Superior becomes a masterpiece in its own right.

Motorcycle assembler, mechanic and motorist

Here again, the craftsmen involved are true magicians of assembly and technology. From design to production, the mechanics at Brough Superior play a decisive role during every phase, of production, imparting their specialized, expert knowledge.
